We don't go to the cinema all that often but when we do we go here because it's the nearest. Staff we had contact with were helpful and friendly Seats comfortable. Food a bit pricey so we don't bother. Nice enough day out.

Quaint cinema situated in the historical dockyard. A wonderful setting.
Friendly, volunteer-run independent cinema showing a wide variety of old and new films for a fraction of the price of the multiplexes.

It's a big screen that can be watched from the guildhall. They sometimes have screening events that are pretty cool.
Lots of great content including local videos and work from students at the University of Portsmouth. Also shows Portsmouth Uni Graduations in the summer.

Brilliant night out. Kiki Dee with Camella cannot believe she's 71!!!!! Her voice has come of age. Beautiful smokey strong clear notes. Her partner is one of those outstanding guitarists who make the instrument sing, could listen to him forever. The small onstage, intimate affair was excellent, first time I've ever done it and it felt very strange at first but you get to relate and bond with the artists. Almost didn't go, so very glad I did. Building is unusual and staff very helpful. Will go again.
A beautiful theatre with atmosphere. Great views from the front row of dress circle. Staff friendly and helpful. Bar with hot and cold drinks and snacks.

Great Place, Great Staff, Amazing production team. Love it there with the grandchildren for pantomine time. Go and see, feel the amazing atmosphere there. Very reasonable too.
What a brilliant panto, haven't laughed so much in ages. A lovely atmosphere in a wonderful playhouse. Hope widow Twanky was ok after the unscripted event...

Visited to watch FastLove but rating the venue rather than the show. The theatre is magical, you can feel the history of it oozing out as soon as you walk through the door. Friendly staff, comfortable seating, reasonable prices and clean facilities. My only negative was that the ushers didn't ask the ladies in front to sit down as they kept blocking our view and they weren't meant to be standing up in that area.I
The kings theatre has been a great venue for decades. I have fond memories of my parents taking me here as a child and still enjoy the Xmas panto each year.
